Graduate schemes

We operate a graduate scheme where you will be given every possible opportunity and resource to help you pass the qualification of your choice that could be:

Become an auctioneer

A member of the Association of auctioneers and Valuers

An estate agency Valuer

A social Media manager and content developer

A business administrator

Or a business to business manager

A qualified member of the RICS  

The graduate training scheme includes seats in both the agency and professional disciplines. We encourage all our graduates to participate in a practical and active way in the day-to-day workings of the department and you will be given individual responsibility from the start.

As one of our graduates your experience will give you the opportunity to learn about all aspects of surveying and the practical skills needed to become an auctioneer or surveyor.

You will learn during your work all the key aspects of each associated discipline that it takes to run your part of the business.

Graduate Training Scheme

As well as learning on the job, NALC is developing a comprehensive graduate training scheme You will attend various courses, lectures and workshops covering all areas of chosen specialism in the marketplace, and seminars on the various competencies. Some of these will be given in-house by partners and members of staff and others by College or via assisted University distance learning, clients or outside consultants.

Each graduate is allocated a professional competence counsellor and Supervisor who will guide you through your training and prepare you for your final assessment to help you achieve your very own pre-set target or goal

Once qualified or you finish your course

The vast majority of our graduates who qualify go onto enjoy long-term careers with us. It is in our interest as much as yours that our investment in you does not stop once you have reached your goal. We believe every day is an opportunity to learn more, gain more experience or further training and ensuring that your talents are being fully utilised.

As a firm we need to constantly develop our people and our skills to ensure that we continue to provide a first-class service to our clients.

We conduct quarterly appraisals which enable individuals to identify what areas to focus on going forward.
